To remove the crown from the sky’s head
To wear that crown for eternity

To find a way into the heaven of desire
To sip, with each breath, from the depthless bowl of nectar

To be surrounded all day by luxury and abundance
To embrace a moon-like idol at night

To illuminate the face of the universe at dawn,
like sunlight, from the roof of the world

To flirt with the firmament, stars,
at night, like the dream-maker moon

To fly like the east wind, Saba, through the sky’s green meadow,
wing-to-wing with doves

To reach Solomon’s rank and dignity
To possess Alexander’s grandeur and glory

To remain at the peak of power forever
To conquer the realm of existence

I would toss these off to you, simply,
since I am happier to have a mother for a moment.
